Features & Improvements
USABILITY, DESIGN - Different minor improvements on visualisation - SG-183, SG-169, SG-182
During this release some minor improvements in the visualisation are added to give a better and more consistent user experience.
Added improvements are amongst others:
- Rounded corners in the structure (group) overview
- Hover over effect on buttons to better inform the users it are buttons. Cryptical, but not all buttons are displayed as traditional buttons, like the tab-selections, or the expand arrows in the structure view. They are technically buttons, but maybe not perceived as such.
- Improve color usage on mouse-over, where in some cases the characters could be white on a white background
- Correct display of dropdown fields in the mobile view
BUG - Fixed: Configuration on Assessments should be respected - SG-157
Resolved an issue where empty appraisal values could cause a misalignment with other appraisals.
BUG, USABILITY- Fixed: Filtering of teaching methods in widget should be supported - SG-156
In case the widget is used to display teaching methods the filter option on for instance category is not supported. It seems the filtering was implemented only for the Assessments and not for the Teaching methods. This has been adjusted, so the filtering options are now also available and executed for the Teaching methods.
USABILITY- Print study (including structure) has been improved - SG-164
The print option for the study, that includes the structure overview of the study has been improved (altered) on different subjects:
- Fixed a bug where opening print modal resets the selected expand states and mode
- Improved rendering performance
- Implemented behaviour that opening the print modal automatically expands all groups. Any selected modes will be respected
- The selections (configuration) in the normal view and print modal group selections (configurations) will be kept in sync
- Added limited interactivity in the print mode, like expand buttons and links to enable manipulation of the print while in preview.
Security improvements
For the third time this year we had a sprint (release) with no security fixes.
This is breaking the trend of having a security fix in each sprint (release), like we had last year.
Check the central database of vulnerabilities for detailed information on each CVE.
