New release Study Guide 2.30

The release notes provide information on the features and improvements in the specified version.

Improvements

Added support to define tooltips for filter options - SG-319

The provided filter options in the study guide can now be enriched with a tooltip that can be used to inform the student on the usage of the tooltip.

The tooltip is shown just after the filter and can be show by hovering the i-icon.

Configuration is performed using the Administration / Filter menu.

The first step is to select the filter that should get a tooltip. In the example a tooltip is added to the study type filter.

Open the filter (study type) by clicking on the pencil.

The next (and final) step is to define the tooltip for the selected filter.

Define the tooltip text for the relevant languages in the Tooltip section.

Improved readability of the study structure overview - SG-260

The study structure overview used to show the list of modules with column sizes that could differ between the different module groups (e.g. year, choice, specialisation, etc.). This due to the fact that the 'width' of the columns were determined per module group -> module set.

A change has been made to use a standard width of the columns used to show additional information for the modules in the entire structure view.

Columns are the same width for all 'grouping' sections.

Embed study guide in an external portal / web page - SG-315

A slight technical change has been made in handling the study guide search, to allow embedding the study guide in an external web page / portal.

The HTML code used to embed is:

<html>
<body>
<h1>Embedded study guide</h1>
<iframe src="
https://<URL to studyguide>/studies" width="500px" height="500px">
</iframe>
</body>
</html>

In this case the study guide will open directly with the overview of the studies. By adding another or no path the standard landing page used for the embedded study guide can be manipulated.
