Timezone Management in Preferences and Activity Manager

We are happy to announce the rollout of timezone support for Preferences and Activity Manager, a feature that has been gradually introduced over the past several months. Below is an overview of the end-to-end timezone functionality:

  • Activities will now consistently be collected in the default timezone of the organization, irrespective of where the submission originates.
  • A new timezone element has been incorporated into Preferences, allowing users to specify different timezones for various form submissions or activity series.
  • Within Activity Manager, users can view the timezone associated with each activity and make edits as needed.
    An alert modal in Core will notify users if they attempt to schedule an activity in a timezone different from that specified for the activity.
